In a heartbreaking incident, an 18-year-old seminary student lost his life after drowning in a river in Rajouri district this afternoon. The victim has been identified as Talib Hussain, son of Mohammad Yousaf, hailing from Mahore Reasi.
According to officials, Talib Hussain, who was currently enrolled in a religious seminary, was taking a bath in the river at Kanthol Koteranka when the unfortunate incident occurred. Despite the swift and determined efforts made by those present at the scene, they were unable to save him.
Confirming the distressing news, a police official stated that the body of Talib Hussain is being handed over to his grieving family for the completion of the final rites.
